Who pays the Starlink monthly fee?▼
You are the absolute owner of the equipment. The monthly fee is paid directly to Starlink through their app via credit card (approx. $150,000 COP/month for the standard residential plan).
Do the cameras work if the power goes out?▼
Solar cameras continue to record to internal memory. However, to view them live from your phone, the internet (Starlink antenna) must have power. That's why we always recommend connecting the antenna to a UPS or backup battery.
Does it work well during heavy rain or cloudy weather?▼
Yes. Starlink technology has greatly improved its weather resistance. In extreme torrential rains, speed may drop slightly, but connection is rarely lost. The cameras we install are IP66 certified, fully resistant to water and sun.
Does it work if my farm has no cell signal?▼
Absolutely. Starlink is satellite internet; it doesn't depend on cell towers from Claro, Movistar, or Tigo. We only need a clear view of the sky for it to work perfectly, even in the most remote areas.
Does the WiFi cover the whole farm or just the house?▼
